I all,

I'm trying FP for yesterday, I've try few themes with latest FP, few seem to not work for me:

hemingway OK

ligero KO

mistylook KO

azure KO

last three doesn't appear in the admin themes page, then I cant choose any of them, does one notice the same? (I've of course read the doc within each package and still think I didn't miss any important step, let me know if I doing smth wrong!)

Another remark, about this forum, after login I'm redirected to a 404 not found page, just click my browser back button I'm back to the forum home page and it seems I 'm logged in since my name correctly appears and "Sign In" have turn to "Sign Out"... And it seems I can post. Is this a bug (no matter how you call it) or a known behavior ?

Static pages are geat since they allow a "no-blog" site

Thanks for the job anyway! It seems a great Lite CMS, at least to me!

Themes:

It is possible, that this themes have an other structure on the file system, so they are not selectable in the admin panel. Try an other one or contact the theme autor.

After Login:

Yes, it is a known point. I think, it will be fixed by the forum admin someday.

Static pages:

No, Flatpress isn't a CMS, Static pages can be used as widgets and they are not inserted in the search results. Flatpress is a quick and easy blog system and should used for blogging...

make sure that the name of the directory containing a theme is all in lowercase and contains no spaces

also, static pages are perfectly well-suited for using flatpress as a lightweight cms. If you want search to work across those you'll have to rely on google, though.
