Updating from Fortissimo Final

1) do a backup (just in case, shouldn’t be needed ;))
2) drop your fp-content to the new flatpress/ dir you unpacked
(for the most, only fp-includes/core/ files are really affected so you might upload only that)
3) login; if you can’t, empty the fp-content/index/ directory, then login
4) go to the maintenance tab and choose to rebuild the index
5) wait for the page to load completely
6) scroll down, you should see a message saying the process has finished: you’re done!

Upgrading from Vivace

    Hi!
    Thanks for the good work.
I would like to mention, that when you’re upgrading from an older version (ex 0.804.x), you should purge theme and template cache at step 4 before rebuilding the index.
Otherwise, your FP would not see your past entries.

After step 1, it is understood that one uploads the unpacked flatpress / package to the web host, correct? Unpack, upload, then overwrite the fp-content with the old one before moving on to the maintenance tab?

    i cant download it.
    sourceforge says:
“The “flatpress/FlatPress 0.909 Arioso/flatpress-0.909-arioso.tar.bz2” file could not be found or is not available. Please select another file.”
    what do i make wrong?

[solved]: i deavtivated my firefox-plugin “refcontrol”, now it downloads ;)
maybe that helps some others who cant download the it too

    (sorry for my bad english^^)
